Mopar Club SD Mopar Club SD member Hot Rod Holly hosted her 10th annual Christmas Morning Cruise bright and early Christmas, delivering bags of goods and close to 50 new sleeping bags to the Alpha Project’s homeless facility in downtown SD. The pandemic took its toll on the number of participants, with about 35 of the normal 100+ classic vehicles participating, and with Santa on his motorcycle. Other club members taking part were Julie and Jeff Walker, as well as Steve Ramos and Stephan Hund. Former club member Terry Ulmer also joined in. The cruise to the Alpha Project facility downtown included cruising through some of the Balboa Park-area neighborhoods, with many folks in their jammies waving from their front doorsteps as the classics paraded by. The sleeping bags were purchased with funds donated by Streetmasters ($500) and David Toth of Classic Restos in Escondido (also $500).
